Airlines have been struggling during the Covid-19 pandemic. But American Airlines (AAL) stock is unexpectedly on the rise. A short squeeze has rattled the market as a group on the popular message board site Reddit looked to take on hedge funds, resulting in massive gains for AMC Entertainment (AMC) and GameStop (GME).
